Why does Jobaffinity send me emails?

In order to avoid recording messages in the software (spam, information from job sites), replies to Job offer received by email that do not include an attachment are not recorded as an application.

We therefore forward the application email to the recruiter responsible for the position, adding the position and the source of application concerned. Depending on your email software, the original document sent by Jobaffinity may be in the body of the email or as an attachment.

This gives the recruiter the necessary elements to request more information from the candidate, or to ignore the email if it is not a legitimate application.

If you have a jobboard that sends you applications by email describing the candidate in the body of the email but without attaching the CV we can, at your request, remove this setting for that particular jobboard. Jobaffinity will then treat all emails as valid applications.
