How to avoid having undelivered e-mails

If your e-mails sent from Jobaffinity are sometimes SPAM or if they do not arrive and you receive a reply that looks like :

Not delivered: Your application Failed to deliver to these recipients or groups:

candidat@laposte.net

Your message has not been delivered due to an authorisation or security problem. It may have been rejected by a moderator, the address may only accept mail from certain senders, or another restriction may have prevented delivery.

The following organisation has rejected your message: smtpz4.laposte.net.

Remote Server returned '554 5.7.1 smtpz4.laposte.net #5.7.1 smtp; 550 5.7.1 SPF permanent error, please verify your SPF record. Please verify your SPF record.

This error may be caused by the implementation of security checks by certain e-mail service providers used by the recipients of your e-mails.

E-mails are sent from our server, with sender and recipient addresses in your domain, which may be blocked or classified as SPAM depending on the anti-spoofing rules in force.

You have your own e-mail server

To avoid this problem, you need to tell your e-mail service providers that the Jobaffinity server is authorised to send e-mails for your domain, by whitelisting it at the level of your domain name.

To do this, ask your IT department to add the following SPF configuration to the DNS rules for your domain (not your mail server):

include:spf.jobaffinity.fr

The DNS entry should look something like :

v=spf1 a include:spf.jobaffinity.fr ~all

We invite you to use the following resources, which are particularly useful when setting up the configuration:
